The Malkara Model Railway and Scale Model Exhibition is held annually at the Malkara Special School, Wisdom Street Garran ACT on the first weekend of August.

This exhibition is jointly conducted by the Malkara P&C and the ACT Model Railway Society Inc.

Each year sees new exhibits on display, as well as some of the traditional favourites.

Also included are displays and workshops conducted by modellers and enthusiasts in the model railway hobby, as well as other scale modellers, games exhibitors, radio controlled cars and boats, and miniature live steam displays and rides.

Model Hobby Retailers are also present to cater to the Modellers whims and delight.

Trains, of course, are the main feature to this exhibition. We strive to provide a mixture of Scales with variety.

Proceeds from the exhibition go towards the purchase of equipment for the students of the Malkara Special School
